Dear Distinguished Guests and Members of the APAA
It is our distinct pleasure to invite you as honorable guests and members of the APAA to participate in the 67th Council Meeting of the APAA in Auckland, New Zealand.
The warm coastal climate of New Zealand attracts tourism for all seasons of the year. Visitors may feast their eyes on the majestic mountain ranges, rolling plains, vast glaciers, picturesque coastline, and the whole nine yards. The breathtaking landscape of this island nation defies description; it is no surprise that this country is a popular film site for movies, including the world-renown Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Thanks to the hard and wonderful work of our host APAA New Zealand Group and its Organizing Committee, the conference attendees will enjoy and to experience all that this conference has to offer and more, both professionally and socially. The valuable voluntary contributions of the APAA Committees keep us abreast of the current IP developments in Asia. Such important works by the Committees will help us to analyze the important IP trends in Asia which, in turn, will help our association to have a meaningful impact in IP community
We hope to see participants get a little taste of the local culture, develop many new and transcending relationships and strengthen old friendships while expanding their knowledge of IP law.
We look forward to seeing all of you in Auckland, New Zealand!
Apart from the usual educational content, the Excursion Day, Accompanying Persons tours and Social Programme will give each of you a range of opportunities to see and experience some of the best Auckland has to offer.
New Zealand is a great place to visit, especially for families and we encourage you to arrive early or stay a while after to enjoy some of the rest of our beautiful country.
